When a company decides to change the monthly pay day from the 25th of every month to an alternate date +/-4 days later , would this require consultation with the employees or can this simply be communicated via an e-mail?
Our company has for over 10 years paid salaries on or before the 25th of every month. Two days ago a e-mail was circulated via HR Dept informing all employees that ssalarie will in future be paid on new dates as listed. The pay dates have now moved to month end dates and not consistantly on the same days.
Is this legal as no employee was consulted nor any reason for this given?

Curious
