Please kindly assist me with the information. My company has appointed employees that were on Fixed Term Contract ( Total cost to company) on the same salary on permanent basis (with benefits). Other employees within the same component are addressing the salary disparity or rather deferred implementation on salary given to these employees, meaning they are earning far more than the other employees with vast years of experience compared to them with their 2 years. How do we rectify such issue as we’ve set a precedent? If we increase other employees salaries it will mean that will have a negative impact on the baseline of our budget, and if we reduce their salaries they will take us to CCMA.
