Salary Reduction

Question: I started in January 2009 at a collection agency for the same salary as my previous employment. In March we all where called in for one on one sessions with one of the owners where he states he gives us 3months to make a person target and he worked it out according to our salary and whe had to sign a letter stating we understand the agreement 3 months later a other lady and myself where called in again because we did not make the personal target and we have the highest salary he is so we signed another letter stating we will have a hearing etc end of July how can I keep my salary I can’t afford to have less than now?

Answer: You will need to provide more clarity and detail. What are you charged with in the hearing pending? When is hearing and what exactly does the notification say? Once I have received this I can advise you accordingly. This may or may not be a form of performance discipline.
