Change Commission Structure Without a Written Agreement

Question: My boss woud like to base our commission on net sales. Is this legal? I know that he cannot change our structure without a written agreement, but i wondered if it was allowed according to SA law?

Answer: They may alter the terms & conditions of commission as long as there is agreement and consultation with staff. No specific laws govern the structures of commission. This is a company perogative.
