Disabled Employment Rights

Question: I am a disabled person who has 15 years work experience. My company is relocating my department to Gauteng and I am unable to move as the weather does not suit me and the company will not offer me any adjustments to my salary. I have been told by the company that I may be offered a package which does not suit me. Can I do anything to stop this or do I have any rights also where can I register with Labour so if companies are looking for a disabled person I may get the opportunity to apply.

Answer:

A company has a right to transfer an employee. By rights they should assist with relocation costs but do not have to amend actual salary package. Nothing stops you from registering with all your local societies and with the Dept of Labour.
