Question:
I have been employed on an hourly basis every day including weekends for 1 year. Employer has presented me with a contract for permanent employment, reducing my monthly income by such an amount that I cannot make ends meet. Is this legal?
Answer:
The company has the right to make someone permanent and they will have the power to cancel your contract if you refuse permanency. Chat with them and negotiate. If you don’t ask you will not receive. Negotiate on your permanent package.
