Dismissal Period

Question:

I have been unfairly dismissed. I haven’t received any written or verbal warnings. Is my boss supposed to pay me out anything?

Answer:

A Company may summarily dismiss without prior warnings, dependant on the severity of the offence.  The only monies due are accrued leave pay and salary up to and including the date of dismissal.  You may refer an unfair dismissal case to the CCMA if you are within a 30 day period from date of dismissal.
